Sensational Seagrass

     
    Here we are, installing Beneath II, with 800 metal tubes planted directly into the lawn.  Inspired by seagrass, my aim was to create a sculpture planted in circular swirls that follow the natural slope of the land.   Hopefully, people of all ages, are enticed to leave the asphalt sidewalk and stroll, crawl or roll right into the art installation.
    You may visit Beneath II, at 67 Grove Street, Sandwich, MA  from May - October 2013.  It is on display with works by three other artists in the outdoor art exhibit called, Moving Landscapes, at Heritage Museums and Gardens.
